XCOM: Enemy Within


  • Level Designer - Designed 11 XCOM mission locations.
  • Level Designer - Designed modular asset kits for XCOM's buildings, vehicles, and alien architecture.
  • Combat Designer - Developed classes, weapons, and progression systems for XCOM's soldiers and aliens.
  • Tools and Pipeline Developer - Developed rapid-prototyping tools used by our design team. 

Enemy Within was XCOM's first major expansion, and a chance for our team to push its limits. I worked with members of our environment team to form a new pipeline for map design - one in which artists and designers collaborated closely over each stage of a mission's development.

Using this process, each mission below was created on an aggressive, four-day schedule. By sharing ownership, we were able to push the quality of our XCOM missions, while greatly reducing their development time.
